Guests will find everything on hand to complement your stay; from supermarkets, a grocery shop, a delicious ‘gelataria’ and authentic restaurants to a bike and windsurfing shop, the ‘Acquarya Sailing School’ and a local lake beach perfect for soaking up some sun and taking a refreshing dip in the lake. Neighbouring the vibrant resort of Luino (7 minutes drive away), guests can easily reach a wider range of modern day amenities. As well as its famous weekly market (open each Wednesday), Luino offers a plethora of restaurants, a Tennis Club with Lido, useful ferry stop and train links to Milan and Switzerland. Minutes away (15 km) the town of Laveno offers the car ferry boat ride (10 min) to the Piedmont bank; Intra/Stresa. From this town another full range of entraitemnt is availeble to guests : Serving as the perfect location too for soaking up the captivating culture and botanical beauty of Lake Maggiore, guests can enjoy some classic Lake Maggiore sightseeing moments at nearby Villa Taranto, Villa Pallavicini and of course with a local trip to the Romanesque church in Belgirate and the spectacular Borromeon Islands. For the perfect way to soak up more breath taking scenery, the Stresa-Alpino-Mattarone Cableway offers an uplifting trip by cable car, whilst the 100 Valleys Tourist train from Locarno offers a breath taking Alpine tour past the Vigezzo and Ticino, towards Stresa and Domodossola.
